The Four Horsemen
The Four Horsemen came together in 1985 and 1986 in the NWA and Jim Crockett Promotions. The original lineup paired Ric Flair and Arn Anderson with Ole Anderson, Tully Blanchard and manager J.J. Dillon. The roster changed several times across the group's run into the WCW years.

Why it mattered
The Four Horsemen became the template for the modern wrestling stable: a tight unit of top talent that controlled the NWA World and tag team titles, with Flair as the centerpiece and Arn Anderson as the enforcer.
The group's legacy was formalized in 2012, when the Four Horsemen were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. That induction counted as Ric Flair's second, after his individual induction.
