The record of past performers. Every wrestler whose in-ring career is closed gets a file here, whether they headlined WrestleMania or worked the midcard.
The Archive is where Wrestle Lore files its past wrestlers: performers who have retired, passed away, or moved into backstage and executive roles. It is broader than the Hall of Fame, which records inducted honors only. The Archive holds everyone whose in-ring career is now history, from icons like The Undertaker to beloved midcard names like The Hurricane. The all-time greats also appear in the Legends index, and wrestlers still competing in 2026 live under current stars.

The Archive is the home for past performers: every wrestler on Wrestle Lore whose in-ring career is finished, whether they retired on their own terms, passed away, or moved into producing, commentary or executive work. Each entry links to a full career profile.
How is the Archive different from the Hall of Fame?
The Hall of Fame records inducted honors, class by class. The Archive is wider: it files everyone whose in-ring career is history, inducted or not. A Hall of Famer like Bret Hart appears in both; a cult favorite like The Hurricane belongs to the Archive even without a ring on his finger.
Do active wrestlers appear in the Archive?
No. Anyone still competing in 2026 is filed under current stars or the full A–Z roster. Part-timers who have not closed the book on their careers stay out of the Archive until they do.
