The Judgment Day started in April 2022 as a group founded by Edge with Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley. Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio were added, and Edge was later ousted from the faction he built.

Why it mattered
The Judgment Day was the dominant WWE faction of the 2023 to 2025 stretch, holding world, tag team and women's titles at the same time. Few groups have controlled that much of the card at once.
Rhea Ripley became the group's breakout draw, and her "Mami" pairing with Dominik Mysterio grew into one of the era's top merchandise lines.
