Which promotion invented WarGames?
WarGames was invented by Jim Crockett Promotions under the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) banner. The first WarGames match took place on July 4, 1987, at the Great American Bash in Atlanta, Georgia — The Four Horsemen vs. Dusty Rhodes, The Road Warriors, Nikita Koloff, and Paul Ellering. The concept (two rings, one cage, teams entering one at a time) was created by Dusty Rhodes. WCW continued WarGames through 1998 at Fall Brawl.
