Founded in May 2013 when Devitt turned on Ryusuke Taguchi — the foreigner-heel faction whose T-shirts, Too Sweets and alumni (AJ Styles, Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks) reshaped the business worldwide. Devitt left for WWE in 2014; the club outlived its founder by more than a decade and is the single biggest reason his name carries weight with fans who never watched him wrestle in Japan.
