The Story
Triple H won the WWF Championship 6 falls to 5 in a 60-minute Iron Man match — the deciding fall coming when a returning Undertaker attacked him and The Rock was disqualified. Sixty minutes, twelve falls — Triple H edged The Rock 6–5 to reclaim the WWF Title, sealed when a returning Undertaker stormed the ring and got Rock disqualified for the final fall.
This was an hour-long chess match at the peak of the 2000 main-event scene: The Rock defending the WWF Title against Triple H, backed by the whole McMahon-Helmsley regime, across a dozen falls of brawling, counters and outside interference.
The finish is one of the most famous returns in company history: with the score level late, the Undertaker came back from injury on a motorcycle — the debut of his American Badass persona — and cleared the ring. His assault on Triple H drew the disqualification fall against Rock, handing Triple H the title with seconds left.
