Overview
Kuat Khamitov is one of the biggest crossover names in Kazakh combat sport, a fighter, boxer, film actor and now a wrestling federation executive, and RAF brought him to Tbilisi to meet Arman Tsarukyan.
He fights out of Alash Pride and has spent his career across Fight Nights Global, ACA, RCC and regional Kazakh promotions, holding two WBK world titles at lightweight and welterweight.
In September 2024 he made his professional boxing debut in Almaty and won the WBC Allstars belt over six rounds.

Background
He began wrestling at five and came up through Kazakhstan's wrestling system before turning to mixed martial arts around 2008, and his style is built on takedowns and positional control. No specific freestyle, sambo or judo title or rank is published for him anywhere. In August 2026 he was appointed Vice President of the Wrestling Federation of Almaty Region, an administrative post rather than a competitive credential.
